the last nocturnal editing day

I'm going to drop the attempt at the parallel Portuguese entries. I thought it would be a good exercise to help with my learning, but my English speaking friends ignore it, and my Portuguese friends laugh at my translation and read the English side. More importantly, it makes me lazier and I'll be less likely to post.

I go to Turkey on Friday. Normally I'd be psyched as hell but I'm too busy to think about it. Tonight, I'll finishing a six day marathon for my freelance editing work. Tomorrow night will be itinerary night (short time, i know) and I'll give you a better idea of my next adventure. The rest of the week will be spent working on my new projecto - for a situation point on Thursday; writing a draft for my travel article in the TRAMA magazine; and putting together a design for a t-shirt competition.

But for now, here's a tune I picked up Sunday... Think psychedelic Beck. I can picture myself listening to it after a long day of work while walking or driving into a high sunset: a prelude to an unpredictably exciting yet low key evening.

Regarding those last tunes I posted... I don't like them much anymore. I'm usually ok with first impressions but... I guess I was in a weird mood.

Back to work.

merry-go-round

brody dalle homme was the front woman of the distillers. now after a band split, a marriage (to singer joshe homme of qotsa) and motherhood, she's spinnerette. NME says she sings with a jagged, full-throated power that pins you to the back wall. i think it's punky enough to jump to, quick enough to walk to, and simple enough to work to. check it.

brody dalle homme foi a cantor dos the distillers. agora depois de uma banda dividida, um casamento (o cantoro joshe homme de qotsa) e da maternidade, ela e spinnerette. NME diz que ela canta com a jagged, full-throated power that pins you to the back wall. Acho que é punky para saltar para , rápido para caminhar, e bastante simples de trabalhar para. verificá-lo.
